The Duro-Med shower tub stool is so small that it fits even narrow bath tubs or small shower stalls, yet being sturdy enough to support up to 250 lbs of weight. Its legs are corrosion-resistant, as they are made of 1” anodized aluminum tubing, strong and rust-free. For increased safety and stability in the shower, the legs are provided with slip-resistant rubber tips. The height of the Duro-Med Shower Tub Stool can be adjusted between 15” and 20”, thanks to an easy snap adjustment system, much better than other systems that require tools and strength to make this adjustment. The shower chair is delivered unassembled, but all we needed to assemble it was a screwdriver. The whole operation took about 10 minutes, so we estimate it’s fast and easy. We found the large, molded polystyrene seat to be quite comfortable and not too slippery. However, in case you have problems with your back, a shower chair with backrest would be better, as on this one you may feel a bit unsecure.
